Who were they?

Alma Hunt Rathman was in the class of 1912 at Capital City School of Nursing (CCSN) located in Washington DC. After graduation from CCSN and Bellevue Hospital Alma did private duty in New York City until she became superintendent of Hill Sanatorium. 

 

Ethel Hunt Cunningham was also in the class of 1912 She was the assistant supervisor of nurses at the US immigration Hospital and Ellis Island during World War I. Then she was the superintendent of nurses at the US Marine Hospital on Stapleton, Staten Island. 

 

Annie Franklin Hunt Todarelli was also a CCSN graduate. Frankie graduated from CCSN and affiliating Bellevue hospital in 1920 and served as chief operating nurse in the Hill Sanatorium in New York City.

 

The Hill Sanatorium was located at 317 W. 136th St. in New York City. George W Hill was the president.
